Start Up!

Staring a new business is daunting to say the least.  In the last year Katie and I have made may decisions that have affected our life together in ways that we couldn't have possibly imagined at the beginning.  Lsat fall we bought a coffee roaster with the help of my mom.  Soon after we went to an coffee importer and bought enough coffee to break in the roaster.  It wasn't my first time roasting coffee, but it was a new learning experience none the less.  After some good friends helped get the roaster into its semi-permanent home, I began the installation process.  I call it a process because it took a few weeks to get the roaster up and running.  Once all of the electrical and duct work had been completed it was time to experiment, and experiment I did!
